After The Nightmare before Christmas and Corpse Bride, the
new animated movie by Tim Burton « Frankenweenie » will be released
the 31th october 2012 in France. A great occasion to celebrate Halloween with
this « deliciously dark tale ». « Frankenweenie » is an adaptation
by Tim Burton of his 1984 short of the same name.
It deals with a 10-years-old boy,
Victor, who’s a young science nerd and who’s trying to bring his dead dog, Sparkly,
back to life. This little Frankenstein was missing his dead dog, which was hit
by a car. Luckily, this experiment is a success. But it would be a secret... Just one of Victor’s classemates discovers
this secret and begins resurrecting a few dead pets, but unfortunately not
only…
« Frankenweenie » is an other
occasion for Burton’s fans to rediscover his imagination and sublime esthetic. We hope
that this animated Burton’s movie for adults will be another Burton’s
masterpiece like we cherish. (160)
