For the
first time in this city of south west of France, there is a dance festival. A dancer
of Angouleme, Tatiana Seguin wish to create this festival for dancers to meet
each others whith practice of dance.There will be performing arts with stars,
dance training, shows and evenings events. from November first to November fourth, Tatania wants to mix
styles of dance, invite people to test lot of dances.It’s a first for the city.
Usually, the city is famous for the international Comics festival, and also
Music festivals or Food festivals but never for a dance one. Nevertheless,
there are many art schools in the city but they never thought about setting an
event of this nature.
Tatiana ‘s
mother is a great dancer and she owns a school in Angouleme, her brother is
also a great dancer and he works on a TV show and works with very famous dance
companies such as Blanca Li,Corinne Lanselle in the United States and in
Europe.
Tatiana
said that she wants to make the people of Angouleme dance all over the city and
enjoy it as they discover this great art form. I think it’s possible because
she’s enthusiastic and she has worked with Kylie Minogue, Redha and many people
in Europe and in the United states like her brother. It’s a big oportunity for
the city and for the people to keep this festival and prolonging it !
