The exhibition Panorama is a retrospective itinerary of one of the most famous german painters of the XXth century, Gerhard Richter.

Thanks to more than 160 works, Panorama emphasizes how this artist of contemporary painting has always reinvented himself, his life and viewpoints through a wide diversity of pictorial styles. His art is far from being meaningless; From the "Photo-Paintings" to the coloured abstractions Richter has always wanted to understand, we could even say to « unveil » the reality. He used to say that what he looked for was « to get everything without creating anything », that is to say, to pay attention to those details we usually don’t see or don’t care about. According to him, this way enables us to understand real life and to get the best of every little thing. His art reinterprets usual genres of art history, such as portraits and landscapes to create his own world. Through his paintings, Richter longs to tell us a story that takes place beyond the visible and the accessible.
