In July, CocoRosie featuring the musical collective Rajasthan Roots and their favorite beatboxer Tex was in tour in France to present their new single “We are on the Fire” before the release of next album (in October 2012). CocoRosie is a group of two sisters from New-York: Bianca and Sierra Casady. Their musical genre is qualified of “Freak-Folk” or “Psyche-Folk”.They claim a poetic and unclassifiable music. In live, it was a real travel in hip-hop, trip-hop, electro, traditional music or yet classical music, accompanied by a harp, beatbox, or Rajasthan’s instruments. The voice of Bianca is like a machine or a robot and Sierra’s voice is magical and sometimes like a classical singer. It was very expected by the normands (people who live in normandy) and mainly in the concert hall Magic Mirrors Le Havre, who is a charming and magical place with a real atmosphere. The only bemol was the sound technician of group, who had a very strong sound with lot of grave and more feedback (while this place is very simple to fit with sound system). However this live was a singular evening with the feeling to see various gigs in one.
