Prices in cultural field 


Culture and arts, in the interest of the cultural democracy, have to be accessible to everybody, whatever the social and professional category. So, to be widen, publics have to be alert and make them conscious every time in cultural practices. The widening of the public have to pass on financial accessibility too, trough concessions in particular to publics far from culture because of social difficulties (unemployed person, students, family with a lot of children…). 

However, some studies show to lower prices it’s not enough to persuade publics who didn’t had an artistic or cultural practices to do it. Then, the professionals of culture field actually suffer often important subsidy drops. Maybe they will have to go up their prices soon to survive. 

So, we need attractive prices to further frequenting and new publics but they have to mix with consciousness –raising campaign and new financials help.
