The Milk
Factory is a culinary creative lab of the French dairy collective, in Paris.
This gallery and laboratory wants to mix disciplines and arts. Design meets photography, culinary
art or illustration. The multidisciplinary is the main idea of this project
where art meet cook.
Milk,
cheese, cream or butter are main subjects of this creative lab. Dairy products
are the material of the artistic works exposed in the Parisian gallery. This
one exposes butter or cheese sculptures, photos of milk projections, variation of
designed cheeseboards or cow portraits. These materials propose a lot of
creative and artistic possibilities. The Milk Factory shows this through the
exhibition “Lactescences”. These artists propose a diversity of milk’s visions.
This exhibition exposes a “multitude of laboratories where artistic, culinary experiments
merge and collide”.
Emilie Faïf, piece of the exhibition "Lactescences"
These
artistic works may be disappointing and surprising, but are very original and creative.
The Milk Factory propose a new way of artistic innovation.
Beyond the
creative research into dairy products, the Milk Factory realizes videos of
exhibitions and creations, and magazines which explain the artistic way of this
culinary works. The Milk Factory wants to show the milk cultures through
meetings at the Quai Branly for example.
This creative lab wants to promote the
diversity of the art and the diversity of cultures. (214)
