Gaudi would
probably stiffle with surprise and anger if he kew what was planned
for his Casa Mila, in Barcelona. Who could imagine the city without
its emblematic undulating and coloured facades that are part of its
history ? La Casa Mila, probably one of the most well-known and
visited buildings of Barcelona is threatened by the crisis. Thus,
Spain has lately thought about selling Gaudi's famous Casa to avoid
economic insolvency. The Casa could even have been sold to a russian
billionaire. Fortunately, the state declared last week that rather
than selling the Casa, they will set a foundation with a consequent
budget thanks to tourism and tickets sold every day. If we end up
selling our emblematic buildings, elements that are part of our
history, of our roots, what will we end up with ?
