Funny name for a photographer…

Dominique Shine, alias Homardpayette has 31 years old. His camera will allow him to understand world originally.

He seems to be very timid, almost antisocial. Photography will allow him to build relationships with other artists and to promote them. He will be interested by hip hop and street culture. He seems to love of the interaction between photographer and the subject being photographed. His subjects in the street seem to be demonstrative to an artistic and relational simplicity, which he likes to work in this field. Beyound the inventiveness of the street culture, he promotes graffiti, hip hop culture with poetry.

His first exposition « je rêve et je fais » shows his work for several years and presents various international actors and artists with who he worked : dancers, choreographer, danse companies, DJs, journalists…

Through his photographs, he revived the debate of the 70s in America and shows the role of socialization of music and dance to fight against « urban guerilla ».

However, street isn’t his only field of study. Like many contemporary photographers, he captures situations of the everyday life with humor and simplicity.

Feminity and childhood take also a lot of place in his work.
