November is definitely the month of the alternative reality games. Last monday, a game named Alt Minds is released. Meanwhile, the giant Google has presented the trailer of its first game called Ingress.

Due to augmented reality, Ingress allowes the players to see invisible things with a smartphone. Indeed, the game is a mobile app available on every smartphones.

The background is simple and classic : a group of scientists has discovered a new kind of energy. We don't know that much about it but rumours say it can control the human mind. Two clans are in dispute. The first clan wants to use this energy to get more powerful despite of the mind's freedom. The second one resists.

The game is playable almost everywhere in the world. The only thing the player has to do is to walk around a town with a smartphone to find portals.

Ingress is a turf war. The aim is to control, protect, and link them before the other team.

More than a « simple » game, Ingress should allow players to discover a town or a neighborhood with a fresh and different look.
