Sigur Ròs : Untitled #1

Sigur Ròs is a band coming from Island, created in 1994. Composed of four members, they are playing different instruments like electric guitar, bass, clavier, percussions. The singer, Jón Þór Birgisson, is really recognizable by his head voice. He also plays electric guitar, sometimes with a bow violin.
The tunes of this group are really singular : Sigur Ròs is inspired by classical music, minimalist music and progressive rock. It creates a real sensation of ethereal music, really smooth and moving.

In their album named «( )», the group had composed a piece of music, «Untitled 1», which is also a video clip. From my own point of view, the video is incredible and that's why I want to describe it here. 

This video clip shows, at its beginning, some childrens waiting for their break, getting dressed to go outside. The atmosphere is so joyful, they run all over the stairs, open the door... and there, we discover a sort of post-apocalyptical landscape, with ashes on the floor and falling down a red sky. Suddenly, a running children turns round : he wears an oxygen mask. 
It's a really terrible image, which is counterbalanced by the joyful behavior of the kids, enjoying, playing with ashes as it was snow, and making a snow man.
